Based on the Oscar-winning hit movie, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, THE MUSICAL is a heart-warming and uplifting tale of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus named Priscilla, and set off on the adventure of a life-time, to perform as drag artists at a casino in the heart of the Australian outback. They end up on a journey of self-discovery, finding friendship, love and far more than they ever dreamed of.

This wildly fresh and funny musical features a hit parade of dance-floor favourites including: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Don’t Leave Me This Way, I Will Survive, I Love The Nightlife, Go West, Hot Stuff and Shake Your Groove Thing.

With a dazzling array of over 500 outrageous costumes, 200 extraordinary headdresses, 23 tonnes of scenery, and a 10 metre long customized bus weighting six tonnes as its sparkling centrepiece, PRISCILLA is a must-see spectacular!

PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, THE MUSICAL originally opened in Australia and after a sell-out two-year run, opened in London’s West End followed by Broadway in New York.  The fabulous pink bus has travelled around the world and has won numerous awards along the way, including a prestigious Olivier Award from London and a Tony Award from Broadway, both for Best Costume Design.  The record-breaking stage spectacular has already been seen by more than 5 million people and grossed in excess of US$600 million worldwide, to become the most successful Australian musical of all time.

Presenter and CEO of Lunchbox Theatrical Productions, James Cundall says: “PRISCILLA has to be one of the ultimate ‘feel-good’ shows.  It has all the ingredients for a superb night out – out-of-this-world costumes, outrageous glamour, music you just can’t sit still to, and a funny yet touching storyline.  No wonder this show has been such a massive hit from the West End to Broadway and beyond.”

PRISCILLA is produced by Lunchbox Theatrical Productions Limited, David Atkins Enterprises, Nullarbor Productions Limited and Showtime Management.
